An open world game design prototype using Procedural Generated Content in Unreal Engine 5.4. The game uses splines for custom island shapes and the built-in water plugin for Unreal Engine 5. The water plugin is customized to also showcase water foam along the coast when waves hit the shore.

An environment material is used to procedurally created basic foliage. A custom PCG Blueprint is used to create the forests and density based on the height and distance from coast. Density is also based on the ground texture type.

Rocks are concentrated on the coasts and corals are focused within the shore (below the sea level). In the game demo, the player can walk on various textures that dynamically play different audio per physically based materials. Audio spheres also play different ambient music or spatially based sound folly based on player location.
